The end of the world approached the Guardians quicker than they would have liked to admit. They had spent eons battling lurid magic from wiping out their fragile kingdom. Just when they thought they won, a new generation of lurid magic was birthed, spreading evil and misfortune across the Earth. Fifty years later, the Soul Tree offered their home a chance to protect what was left of their dying people. Three new Guardians would be born, raised, and trained to end lurid magic's curse once and for all.

His hometown, Spirit, and its neighbor, Aqua Fell, were at civil war again. For his whole life, Freedom had been shamed since his father had been accused of murdering the king. His Guardian status met nothing to Equality's people as he was doomed to meet the same fate as his father. They wanted him and his family dead. In reality, his father was innocent, but what happens when his older brother turns his back on Equality?

She wanted to be the queen, but the Guardians handed the crown to her older brother. Victoria flew around Equality liked she owned it, not caring who she offended or heart broke. Her father was missing, and she swore to study magic and bring him home. Even under all that arrogance was a heart, but what happens when the lies she lived by are corrected?
