I closed my eyes. The tears slid down my cheek. The desperation of feeling so lonely and alone made me crunch my face altogether. No amount of love would fix a broken thing like me. An unlovable, powerless creature. When I tried to open my eyes and there was a bright flash of light so blinding that even closing my eyes again could not prevent it from stinging. I hissed from the pain radiate from the side of my head. What in the world. I started to vocalize my pain. My screams stuck in my throat. I needed reassurance that I was still alive. The pain was inhuman. A warm breeze swept through my body. The blood felt like it was burning my insides. After a very long five seconds the pain started to become a bearable level. My body was so warm. It was winter in Boston and the heater in our home hasn't been fixed. Did I die? Was it the heater that exploded. Am I dead already? My body was still in pain when my ears picked up sounds other than my own.All Rights Reserved
