Adranee is a kingdom at war, has been so for centuries. Ruled by a Monarch, guarded by the Raskane, it is a kingdom full of many species. This world was once powerful, the species of it growing together and learning. However, going too far can lead to consequences. A millennia ago, the world fell to ruin, a millennia later, the world has not returned to its glory, stuck in an era similar to medieval. Kyran was born in this time, as a Flame and as an orphan. Being an orphan in Adranee is immediate conscription into the Raskane. Taught to obey the Monarch and let go of empathy, they protect the kingdom from falling to ruin and the western kingdom of Edrah. However, Kyran is taken away from the war and sent to the last place he'd like to go, to a town south, one of the farthest from the war front. Here a rift has opened up, little does anyone understand it in this age, but they'll soon learn of it's meaning. And whether it's a threat or a hope.
