Excalibur, Durlindana, Altachiara, Dyrnwyn... Sono davvero molte le spade compagne dei grandi condottieri delle leggende e ognuna di esse ha una storia. Noi occidentali abbiamo tradizioni, folclore e leggende molto radicate, però l'Oriente può vantare storie talmente ben articolate che a volte non si riesce a distinguere tra realtà e leggenda.
La spada di cui sto per raccontarvi ne è un chiaro esempio: la storia che la circonda non può essere altro che una leggenda, eppure compare in diversi documenti storici e ancora oggi è una reliquia gelosamente custodita dai monaci shintoisti.
