A short story that I have written for school in an exam, and I'm turning it into an actual story. I will be making changes and extending it.
A little summary:
A 16 year old girl named Eva has a crush on this boy called Ryan and she has a chance to kiss him at prom. There is a problem, however, she hasn't asked her parents and she's scared they'll say no.

16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced.
