Wren
(Book 5) *Complete* Wren grew up on the west coast, in a wealthy neighbourhood of Portland Oregon, she was not shy of attention, growing up with the famous Teddy Nomikos as one of her moms. She is fresh out of high school, leaving home for the first time, and leaving the hormonal house behind, two teenage sisters Olympia, 16, Josephine, 14, and a little brother, Bastion "Bash", 6 Teddy and Harper would cry when they dropped her off but Wren was literally up the road, at the university of Oregon, her adult life just beginning. College to Wren = Party, Girls, Party, Girls, with a side of majoring in psychology and soccer. Wren was all about that college party life, until someone a little older catches her eye, someone who she shouldn't try it with, but she couldn't help herself, she had confidence for days... and this young teacher, oof, she did something to her, what a surprise to find her at a gay club on a Friday night in the city... and to find she had no idea who she was?! What could possibly go wrong there. Millie Dawson was a young teacher, Twenty three years old, newly graduated with a masters degree and teaching her first year at the community college, whilst simultaneously assisting her mother Moira at the university in her speciality, psychology. Millie crammed so much into her learning and work life that she didn't much notice anyone around her, certainly not the beautiful girl sat in her mothers class, who she would have recognised as a student had she ever looked up long enough, and she could have then avoided the moment she stepped over the line and became inappropriate with a student. Wren was impossible, impossibly cute, driven, confident, funny, gorgeous and intent on making Millie fall for her, no matter how she tried to avoid it. Then there was Ava, Wrens ex from high school...who hadn't been able to quit thinking about her. *I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION FOR THIS BOOK TO BE COPIED, OR ADAPTED ON THIS PLATFORM OR ANY OTHER*Complete

When Bryony -- herbalist extraordinaire -- goes missing, Bella knows one suspect stands above the rest. The village's aspiring second witch, Daphne, comes from a family that's tried to take Bryony down before, and Daphne seems determined to carry on that legacy. For someone who's always been terrified of Bryony, she's a little too keen on looking into the disappearance. There's just one problem. Bella's insufferable fellow familiar thinks the kid is innocent... and he's been right about worse things before. If Daphne herself is to be believed, clues on the disappearance lead a whole lot closer to home than Bella would like. As the evidence mounts, Bella must choose to either stand by her values and the woman who raised her, or seek what might be a truth she would rather not uncover. Prompt #81: The town's witch has gone missing and no one is looking for her but her two familiars - a crow and a black cat, plus the teen who has always been scared of her. ❖❖❖ Written for Wattpad's 2024 Open Novella Contest. Second Ave Series: Ac-Counting on You (WLW)
Agoraphobic Gwen Murray was scarred in a freak accident in her youth that left her with burns on around twelve percent of her body and many years of ridiculing bullying from not only children, but adults alike. With a history as such, it's no surprise that she isn't very well adjusted to going outdoors. However, as fearful as she is to face the relentless torment once again, she hates feeling as if her life is on permanent standby. All she's ever desired is true happiness -- don't we all -- and with words of encouragement from not only her therapist, but her little brother as well, she is ready to take another step forward. Although, what she hadn't expected was the person who out of nowhere joined her stark journey. Bookstore and cafe owner Michal "Brook" Bluestone was raised mostly in Israel, though her parents desired a full life for her and moved them to join a bulk of their family in the US upon her coming out. Years later, she has two thriving businesses, a giant family only an hours drive away and a network of friends. There's only one thing missing from her life -- love -- and now more than ever, she is ready to find what she deems her "forever girl" with how well life is going. Still, after using dating apps and all encounters failing, she fears love may not be in the cards for her until a skittish woman walks into her cafe, forever changing her world.
