Last summer Soleil met a guy during a surfing competition, she saw him surf and she was in love, with him and also in love with the way he was connected to the ocean.
Well, it was all way too good to be true, when they actually talked she found out he was the biggest a-hole she had ever met. Soleil thought that the conversation that they had would be the last, she was relieved, she never wanted to see him again. I wonder why?
Her family decided that moving to Honolulu Hawaii would e great for Soleil's surfing career.
Soleil was very excited for her first day at her new high school when she bumped into a guy in the hallway, when she looked up the person she never wanted to see again was standing right in front of her.

That summer where you look him in the eyes while he runs his fingers through your hair. That summer where you skateboard along empty streets at sunset and accidentally steal candy from a grocery store. Well, I didn't get that, but I got pretty close to it. Because for the summer I went to an island in the middle of nowhere so my dad could start up a new one of his businesses in his chain of stores. I went to the beach. And I met Royce...
