The wind blew back the tide as it swept across the horizon, the night stood still as the undead venture threw the night silently without a trace. Zachary was afraid of the stories that was told to him by the nannies at the orphanage,he rushed to lay under his bedspread shaking profoundly. He heard growl and grunts outside and he knew deep down that he wouldn't be able to sleep that night. Two hours passed and Zachary poked his head from under the bedspread thinking that he might see the sun shining however it was still dark outside. Feeling disappointed he angrily unwrapped himself from the tangled bedspreads he slowly built up the confidence to venture into the hallway leading to the kitchen to get some water and hopefully grab a light snack. Trying not to wake up the others residing in the orphanage he walked slowly down the stairs and into the kitchen where he moved briskly to grab what he needed and head back to his room. As Zachary turned to head back upstairs he saw from is peripheral vision eyes in the dark watching his every move. Blowing it off as an hallucinations or whatever he continued up the stairs, switched off the hallway lights and rushed to his room. Hoping he would be able to sleep..but that wasn't gonna happen because fate was be dealing him a different set if cards on this night.

Vivienne Forbes has always been the rock for everyone around her. She has loved fiercely, to the point where the ones she cared for most have hurt her the most. She's longed for the love of a father-just a bit of validation, consideration, or even empathy. That's all she ever wanted. The love she feels for her family is unexplainable; she would kill for them, and be killed by them. But now, she doesn't let people in. If they don't know her, they can't hurt her. She's learned the hard way that the greatest betrayal often comes from those you love most-the ones you trust, the ones you let in. When he enters her life, it's going to be a sight to see. Niklaus Mikaelson is a man who takes what he wants. Vengeful, manipulative, and ruthless, he will stop at nothing to achieve his goals and remove anyone who stands in his way. He has a reason for everything he does, and while it's driven by selfish motives, there's a fear behind it all. Klaus is also a skilled artist, often seen sketching in his spare time. Rather than showing love to those he cares about, he uses fear to ensure their loyalty. He believes no one will ever choose to stick by his side, so he forces them to stay. What the world calls evil, he sees as an appropriate response to a harsh and unfair world. Cruel, powerful, narcissistic, and manipulative-yes. But Klaus is also compassionate, lovable, and deeply emotional, even if he refuses to let anyone see that side of him. "Love is a vampire's greatest weakness. We do not feel, and we do not care." Will this saying change when their worlds collide? Will he push her away, or will she break down the walls he's built over thousands of years? Will she let him in? Will he be there for her when she rises? Is she his salvation or his demise? Neither of them knows yet, but one thing is certain: their souls are already intertwined. --- Join this ride, and I promise you'll love it. Let's dive in. Your writer

'What are you doing here?' he said angrily forcefully yanking my arm. 'I told you to stay hidden.' I pulled my arm free. 'I know but I wanted to help!' I told him with creased brows wondering why we were wasting time. 'By getting yourself killed? Is that your idea of helping?' his deep eyes shot daggers at me. 'I don't care! This is my fight too?' I argued shooting back the daggers. 'You don't...' he mumbled the rest of the statement running his hand through his hair in obvious frustration. 'This is a war, not one of your childish games, Santana.' Injured by his words, I shot back. 'Then i would rather die than li...' I stopped when the atmosphere immediately changed...drastically. His eyes narrowed into mere slits as his face grew dark and he seemed to loom darkly and threateningly over me. I shivered as I stepped back in both awe and fear. He suddenly scooped down and gripped my shoulders pulling closer to him while lifting me off the ground until i was almost the same height as him. 'I will rip everyone's throat with my bare hands before I let anyone touch you.' he hissed his eyes a deep shade of grey that they were almost black. What the hell? * * * All Santana wanted was to live an quiet life. After what happened to her Grandmother everyone's eyes were on her family and all she had to do was to try and not be a psycho... how hard could it be? Oh...she had no idea. From her recurring dream to her brother's terrifyingly accurate intuition to her own ability see beyond the physical, it was becoming increasingly obvious that something was amiss... ***

"What the fuck did we bump into?" Damien yells. The entire room rattles. Window frame movement puts too much stress on the glasses. The lights going on and off as if some weirdo is busy toying with them, the light fixture's wires become exposed, and vases crash on the ground from top cupboards followed by books and magazines. Her eyes showed nothing but pure white as she tossed and turned vigorously on the small hospital bed, blinking multiple times. "DO NOT TOUCH HIM!" She yells. This fuels the shaking edifice more. "Do something!" I scream at the doctor who is standing there flummoxed just as we are. Out of nowhere, a bright light engulfs her. "What the actual fuck?" goes the doctor dropping the clipboard in his hands. The ECG machine goes into a wild paced beeping. "DON'T! "She shouts once more sitting up, blasting us away. My back connects with a hard object behind me. The sound of shattering glasses, exploding machines and light bulbs follow .A sharp high pitch sound ringing inside my ears caused by the blast. . I feel myself getting weak as my back aches from being hit. By the time am conscious enough the sound of buzzing sockets as a result of short out wires that produce bright sparks in the now dark room are all I see and hear for a moment, lights flickering simultaneously. Later, I hear someone giving orders from outside our room accompanied by indistinct voices from agitated people being guided out of the building. My eyes scan the room searching for Damien. I heave a sigh of relief to see him laying on the ground his head leaning lazily on the door. A figure moves adjacent from me. The doctor takes closer yet cautious steps towards the girl still seated on the bed her eyes shut. "What in the world of the X-Men are you?"

The Quarter is quiet. Marcellus controls the vampires. The wolves live like outcasts in the Bayou. The Witches have a rocky peace with the vampires. The Mikaelsons raise Hope in their family home. All is peaceful, quiet despite the minor disputes. However the newest Scottish visitors have a long history that they plan on bringing to town. --- "They don't like the idea of new vampires in New Orleans." He reports shamefully, holding his head downwards. The butler seemed as though fearing for his life. I hold the lavender ball gown up to my chest, looking at myself in the floor length mirror. "On the contrary, dear Joseph," I pause, listening as my sweet Scottish accented voice floats around the room in tranquility. I turn to him, my ice eyes resting on him. "We are very, very old vampires." I drop the dress, and the butler looks up in fear. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump. I walk back and pick up the lavender dress, admiring my smiling reflection in the mirror as the tragically human butler bleeds out onto the expensive Russian rug. --- Some plot lines and moments of the Originals has been altered for this story. Camille is human (alive). Marcel is not a super vamp. However, Hope is seven years old. I only own the events and Characters I design, the rest all belong to the CW and the wonderful writers. Edit:: The Title has been changed from Casket Crowns to Her Majesty The reasoning is that the characters designed in this story are being used in a series of novels that will NOT be fan fictions. If you're interested in Merida and her brothers furthermore, stay tuned for the actual Fiction/Fantasy book I'll publish on my profile. August 10, 2020 UPDATE: This story is old, I started it several years ago and therefore has many flaws. Read at your own risk.

"Ask yourself, Kaitlyn, will you ever be able to look past all of Damon's imperfections?" "I shouldn't have to look past them like they don't exist, Stefan! I should be able to accept Damon for everything he is and love every part of him!" "I think you answered your own question," Stefan says smiling. "I'll drive you to Atlanta." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have you ever gone through life living in someone's shadow? That's me, Kaitlyn Gilbert, Elena's twin sister. If living in her shadow wasn't bad enough, imagine being told you're a doppelgänger. That means there's someone else out there who also looks like you. Yet another person to live in the shadow of. Then the Salvatore brothers came to town. Two of them, three of us. Elena got Stefan leaving only Damon. I thought I had a chance with him since Katherine was sealed away in some tomb. I was wrong. Even when I was right in front of him he didn't choose me.
