Song birds could be heard outside the small, cosy cabins windows. Leaning again the door frame leading into their babies bedroom, Dream smiled sleepily watching George standing near the bedroom window. Soft rays of the morning sunlight seeping in while George cradled their young son close to his chest, humming a tune of sorts. If Dream could, he'd have this scene on repeat for the rest of his life.

I awake to the sound of birds singing I look over at my phone and it was coming up to 6am. I turned over to see Zak was not beside me I sighed. I thought I may as well get up early as I'm awake now and no doubt Luke will want feeding soon anyway. I take the short walk along the landing to his room as I slowly open the door I see his dad there fast asleep in the chair next to his crib. He'd known George was small, he was very open about the fact in his teases and chides, but he'd never fully let himself understand their proportions, as the ocean between them was not moving any time soon, so it didn't seem to matter. Now he was faced with the fact that George was really small.
