Serenity Ashburn didn't have much when the apocalypse started.  She grew up in an orphanage and then eventually went on her own.  At 19 she has survived school, street fights, jail, and now she can say she's a survivor of the apocalypse.  She's on her own right now but who knows.  Maybe she'll find others on her way through hell.  Will Serenity survive the apocalypse?  Will she meet other survivors on the way?  Will she find love?  Can she be saved before she's lost forever? Jasmine Kennedy hasn't ha a very good life. She lives with her father, older brother Lincoln, and the younger twins, Ashlyn and Brady. Their father abused and blamed Jasmine for his wife leaving. She ran away at 15 and was picked up by the police to live with foster parents. Jasmine kept in contact with her siblings and managed to get the twins out of that horrible house as well. She moved into her own apartment with them and went to school for nursing. Jasmine turned 28 right when the 'apocalypse' started. As she learns how to survive in this new world, relationships will be tested and her emotions might just betray her. Will she be able to survive or will she perish as everything she knows comes crashing around her? And how does a certain blue eyed redneck fit into all this?
