I had this idea after playing Assassin's Creed 3. Since both take place during the American Revolutionary War. 

Since Connor's exact age is a little bit spotty on the timeline. So I'm writing that him and Nicolette  turned 18 and got married a few months before she had to leave for London. Think of it like they got married just after graduating highschool.
