Ireland, 279 BC. A nation at war.
For two boys, it will be gruelling. For Ireland . . . it will be bloody.

When the first raiding skirmishes of a foreign army are crushed and Ireland mourns her dead, one king knows their newfound peace is destined to fail. As Overking of Ailigh, Keeper of the North, he calls for the boys of his Celtic tribes to train as formidable warriors under his command.

For Áed, it begins as a fantastical quest. For Rónán, it helps him escape a cruel chieftain. Together, they must train and grow in strength and might. And when the invading army returns, a nation goes to war, united under one banner.

Meanwhile, Áed's sister begins her training as a druid, learning the spiritual ways of the earth. And when the goddess Cáer speaks to her in her dreams, she knows that Ireland's future hangs in the balance.

With Áed skilled in close combat, and Rónán blessed with an archer's eye, they fight side by side, champions of the Celts. But death is close. And the tides of war are forever in flux.

The Irish Celts know one thing: if the warmongering foreigners aren't defeated, not even the druids can change the course of destiny.

**Coming to KU in January 2026** Sometimes fate brings you exactly what you need before you even realize it. *** Brigid Kelly has lost everything and no amount of spells or wishes stopped it. After her Gran fell ill and passed away, Brigid wasn't able to keep her grandmother's metaphysical shop going. With everything crashing down around her, Brigid buys a one-way ticket to the land of her ancestors, hoping to find solace in the old cabin where her Gran grew up. Ireland is everything she was always told it was and then some. As she sorts out the slowly declining house in the woods, she's thrust into the path of handsome Torin Boyle by circumstance. The walls she's built up around her heart are slowly chipped away as Torin reveals pieces of himself as well, opening not only his home but his heart too. Torin Boyle has spent the last thirty-odd years living in the North of Ireland, running through the rolling hills with his friends. As a pack of wolf Shifters in a country that has no natural wolves, Torin has learned to keep a tap on his inner emotions to protect those he loves. But his homeland is dying; small patches of forest turning brown and dry. When a witch appears on his family's land out of nowhere, he's concerned that the witch is to cause for what's been happening to the land. He never expected to feel pulled into her orbit so completely. Brigid's idyllic life comes to a halt when Torin's father falls ill, closely followed by other members of the Shifter's family. The land around them - the very land where Brigid's ancestors lived - is dying. If Brigid and Torin can't figure out how to fix it, she might not be the only one losing those she loves. **Trigger Warnings - mentions of hospitals and death/cancer; loosing loved ones**

Will he be able to solve the riddle of the Hag at the Well of Healing Waters? Most frightening of all, how will Finn overcome Aillean of the Flaming Breath, a creature spawned in the dark of the underworld that visits great evil upon the Land of Erin, claiming the lives of any who confront it? Only by victory over these and many other labors will young Finn grow to become the greatest of ancient Ireland's heroes, assuming at last the leadership to guide his countrymen in their noble quest for freedom. His tale is full of the whimsy of Faery, the guiding influences of the gods, and the deepest questions of honor, the code of manhood, courage and integrity.
