Estelle Beaumont just wanted a peaceful hike on her last day of vacation. Instead, one ill-starred moment of curiosity leaves her miraculously stranded in the fictional world of Prythian--a faerie realm full of ruthless court drama, rampant misogyny, and enough deadly magic to keep anyone up at night. Armed with foreknowledge that's only helpful when it isn't actively trying to get her killed, Estelle quickly discovers that living through the story of ACOTAR is far less fun and far more perilous when it's her own basic-ass, untrained mortal life on the line. Her plan is simple: keep her hands off of the plot and survive long enough to find a way back to the family and love she left behind. But the so-called "Mother" clearly has other plans for Estelle, forcing her to confront an unsettling truth--that her role here in Prythian might be far greater than that of a passive observer. As Estelle reluctantly abandons her original plan, uneasy alliances form, old wounds reopen, and fractured trust begins to mend. Love, loss, and scars of the past converge as Estelle slowly starts to see that the family she thought she'd lost might take a new shape, and that the life she left behind might be the only reason she's prepared for the fight ahead. But the cost of shaping Prythian's future--and her own--might be greater than she can bear. After all, it's a future that was never meant to be hers to begin with. And this is all that damned Cauldron's fault... ☆⊱──────⊰ ☽✧☾ ⊱──────⊰☆ A/N: This fanfiction is purely self-indulgent. If you don't like self-insert/iseki like tropes were an original character who read the books ends up in the fictional world as the new main character, you might want to skip this. Somethings will stay very familiar, others will diverge completely, and I plan to add extra world building along the way. Slowburn romance.

TW: this book will deal with triggering topics. If you are easily triggered this is not the story for you, thanks. (Book one in the Starlight series) ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── Danika Archeron was born in the shadows. Always looking over her shoulder when her family wasn't looking. She was their protector even if they didn't know it. She had been training as an assassin and warrior since she was eight years old, and yet her family had never suspected a thing. What will Danika do when she's spirited away to Prythian with her little sister, surrounded by the creatures she'd been training to kill for as long as she could remember? ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── I cut him off my smile unfaltering, "Think before you speak, the last male who didn't lost more than just his tongue." I know both High Fae caught the wording of male, instead of man when their eyebrows rose a fraction of an inch. "Is that a threat?" Hissy asked. "No," I replied, "It's advice." ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── (Also!! just an FYI Danika is largely inspired by Manon Blackbeak, so that's why I used some of her fanart and such. I also might include some of Manon's abilities like her nails, cause I feel like that would be fun. ) ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── ACOTAR fanfic- OC x Rhysand This book will finish ACOTAR and the next book will be ACOMAF ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── DISCLAIMER: All characters go to Sarah J. 20 parts Complete Mature

Two hundred years ago Rhysand lost his mother and sister in a grueling murder. But what if that sister had survived? What if the head in that box was just a tree-stump, transformed to look exactly like her? What if she had instead been sold for her knowledge on the mysterious Night Court? And what if that sister would now, just a few years after the war, find her way back, but with agendas of her own? ****************************************************************************** "Alright, oh wise one, my need for wisdom has run out now, so you can be on your way now" I waved my hand. "That's cold" Rhys put a hand over his heart, " I thought we were having a big-bro-little-sis talk here." I rolled my eyes, but he slid an arm around my shoulder: "We both already know what you'll do anyway." "Oh, we do, is that right?" He nodded: "You always been so predictable, if you would write murder-mysteries everyone would know from the beginning who killed the victim." "That's weirdly specific, how long have you been sitting on that one?" I snorted. "Since you insulted my taste in art" he sniffed theatrically. I laughed: "You are one petty High Lord." "I don't even know what to say to that insolence" he shook his head.
