"Ferbus walked faster, undeterred, until a door swung open to our left, blocking our path, and a beautiful girl emerged with a maid in tow.

She was dressed elegantly in a long cream dress. The dress swooped down her neck and was adorned with lace and dainty emeralds that complemented her forest green eyes. Her cinnamon hair was styled into a bun, leaving curls of hair here and there. She wore a tiara, embedded with emeralds. She was the princess and I was once like her."

When Princess Ethel's kingdom is invaded, she is captured and taken as a slave, leaving behind her family and loved ones. 

She changes her name in the new kingdom and is given the job of a maid in the palace of the enemy.

Will she learn to love her enemies or will she be caught in a web between doing what is right and vindicating her people?
