When Izuku was 4 the end of his life started, he slowly dies over the next 10 years. 13 Reasons drives Izuku to take Bakagos advice his last day alive. Before Izuku killed himself he wanted the people who drove him to his death to know why. So he left 13 tapes to be passed to each of the people that's made him commit suicide. Bakago is reason 13.
