Before the burning of Notre Dame, the ruthless judge, Claude Frollo, found an unconscious maiden near the canals. The maiden awakens and shows signs of amnesia with the exception of her name. Against his better judgment, Frollo decides to keep the girl but have her hidden from the world. Frollo then forms a wicked plan for the girl, just as he did for his adopted son. Perhaps this mysterious girl can lure out the rumored Gypsy King from his hiding spot . . .

Bella and her younger brother Quasimodo, have lived under the cruel care, of Judge Claude Frollo, since their mother left them on the steps of the Notre Dame cathedral. Bella can't remember much about either of her parents, though she refuses to let herself be taken in, by Frollo's lies. While Bella is one of the most beautiful young girls in Paris, Quasimodo is ugly and deformed, but Frollo keeps them both locked up for their safety. Hello! If you know me I absolutely Victor Hugo's Hunchback of Notre Dame but believe the disney take that came out in 1996 did the book wrong in many ways. One being one of the biggest characters in the book, Claude Frollo. I don't hate the movie, just believe they portrayed him in a very vicious and bloodthirsty way, completely opposite to the book. But no matter, he's an amazing, deep, original character and I think he deserves some fanfic. So I've taken it upon myself to write a version of the movie all my own and if you've read my other story ("The Servant of Judge Frollo") then you'll know I've been busy. This one however is a little more twisted with new characters and a darker plot. It all starts when Judge Frollo is told the very last thing he wants to hear. He is getting help from a foreigner who has ties to the king named Nikolas to control the larger gypsy population. Frollo and Nikolas cannot stand each other but decided upon a plan to infiltrate the Court of Miracles and capture the gypsies once and for all! But will love and jealousy get in the way? Especially when Healia and Esmeralda get involved? A fanfic filled with hopeless love, lies and bitter truths I really hope you all will enjoy this new fanficion. Please read and review!!!
