Gumball's lifestyle is passively aggressive as he's happily striving to fit in with the joy in Elmore so he won't have to face anything terrible from it. He has a sarcastic but kindhearted girlfriend, a poor but dysfunctional family, and a weirdly corrupted school of students and teachers that either love to bully him or just treat him like trash for how troublesome he is. It's the normal typical lifestyle an early teen lives in junior high school. But that's really not the case here.
The relationship is not that perfect for Gumball and Penny, but it's still stable. The only problem here is that there's a big question that hasn't been answered yet... Does Penny really know Gumball very well? Even his past experiences? Turns out Gumball has held a deep dark secret from Penny for a long time, and it is the roots of his behavior after all.
As she learns more from the feline, life gets more chaotic with many things to look upon; A new cafe Penny's mother opened, sudden panic attacks, and the discovery of a new relationship. It isn't going to be the typical lifestyle an early teen goes through in a cartoon TV show.
Come and watch the journey of how Gumball goes through things in his own world and discovers to forgive himself and move on from his past painful moments caused by many people, and a certain someone that was the main influence of his deep dark secret.

Cole the Not So Stereotypical Jock Being the most popular guy that girls all want to be with and all guys want to be should make you feel on top of the world, right? That's why instead of slowly letting people into her life, she chose to shut them out completely. It seems easier that way, which is until she moves to Bangor, Maine and catches the eye of Cole, the football quarterback and heart throb of the school. He makes her feel things that she didn't think we're capable, and he shows how to make a bad situation into something semi-tolerable. It gets her thinking that maybe cliche boys with secrets aren't such a bad thing. During their 17th year, Andy and Cole must face the problems of high school, social hierarchy, their pasts, relationships, trust, friendships, and even love. Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. An unidentified amount of time after Gumball Watterson encouraged Penny Fitzgerald to break out of her shell and be herself, a new threat has emerged from the world of infinite static with the intention of capturing the one fairy who exposed herself to the world. This sends the two of them on the run from not only Rob, but a new enemy like none the town has ever seen before (even by Elmore's standards). With the entirety of Elmore, and possibly the world, at stake, the two lovebirds are indirectly sent on a journey both physically and emotionally. Gumball is now introduced to the darker side of the fairy's emotions and her feelings about herself and her powers.
