Balangir, Oct 25: Gobinda Sahu, the prime accused in the sensational murder of Kalahandi school teacher Mamita Meher, has been sent to jail on Monday after his five-day remand period ended on Sunday.

Sahu, president of Sunshine English Medium School at Mahaling in Kalahandi district, was produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court in Bangomunda of Balangir district this morning.
