He hated her laugh; her smile; the thought of her being happy.
Then he saw that very same smile slowly fade, and decided he didn't hate all that anymore. If anything he found himself wishing to see her smile again.

She hated his presence; his piercing gaze; his very existence.
Then she saw him walk away, and decided the idea of losing him wasn't a joyful one. If anything she found herself wishing he would just stay.

I held my breath as I prepared myself for the inevitable.
For him to voice what he'd always claimed for years.
For him to say that a life without my presence was a dream come true ever since he saw me in our first year.

"Because I have no reason to stay" his limbs stiffened as he tried to avoid making eye contact, taking me by surprise.

"You don't have one simple reason why you-"

"Yes Grey, I don't have a simple reason why I should stay," the rest of the world seemed to simply melt and dissolve around us cause all I saw were his grey eyes.
And right there right then a piece of me broke inside, like my whole world split into two.

I could feel my self scream on the inside, tearing my limbs apart one by one.

My entire being seemed to scream, however, my lips remained sealed as Draco Malfoy appeared to be millions of light years away from me, yet still between my finger tips for perhaps the very last time.

And then he turned around and simply walked the other way. Leaving me to my conflicted existence that seemed to defy all sense of logic by wishing he'd turn around and stay. Wishing he'd find a reason. Wishing he'd let me be his reason.
