In the process of trying to figure out why she's unable to connect or communicate with her Soul, she also attempts to find out the truth about her murder...and who her killer could be. She knows for a fact it couldn't have been her father, William, or her mother, Clara, and she's positive that none of her siblings were responsible for her death. Will Shadow ever be able to connect with her Soul again? Will she finally be told who her murderer is?
