Well, when you're outcasts, thieves, runaways, and social undesirables, that may not always be the case. 

This is especially true for this particular not-so-merry band of ragtag individuals, who soon find that they got much more than they bargained for when what was supposed to be the simple task of teaching a young man to be an adventurer turns into a life-or-death gamble at nearly every turn, and they are forced to face the harsh reality of what adventuring really means.
