Basically, this is an Undertale au, (and my first) and it's probably trash. Now for about the story. *Ahem* From the moment Frisk entered the Underground, the monsters couldn't help but liking the candy-loving child. Then, disaster struck, Frisk fell from the castle walls, and the fall killed them. Sorrow filled the underground, the once joy-filled, hopeful underground became quiet, and empty. Until Sans found something, a tiny shard of hope and determination, buried amongst the snow. Beginning a search to find the other shards of Frisk's soul. But, not everything is as it seems, another being is searching for the shards, and they don't have good intentions.

Monsters tend to age slower than humans in this AU. This is a fanwork. If you think Sans x Frisk is cringy, I treat it as Beauty and the Beast so think of it in that mindset. Undertale is a beautiful game from 2015 by Toby Fox. I was among the many who jumped on the bandwagon and got into the game. Since then, the fanbase has created many alternate universes (aus). Flowerfell was created a year later in comic form. It's among the saddest aus while keeping the tone of Underfell (the evil fan made counterpart of the base game). I've been wanting to write a Flowerfell fanfiction for a long time, and here it finally is. I heavily debated whether to write the usual happy ending or a sad one, aligning with the original creator's intentions. Fall into the Underground and find out. And remember, Humans and Monsters.
