There are actually quite a few nonhumans/monsters, both turned and born. Madeleine is a turned creature, given wings and feathers by the Divine. There are many other such creatures, including Espresso. If that makes you uncomfortable in any way, you've been warned. You don't have to read this, you know. Also there's gay (of course) and they're both transgender because I said so and I wanted to make Madeleine suffer period cramps. Don't be homophobic. I probably won't be adding smut to this one (though if I make a book 2 there might be), so don't get your hopes up. --- This cover was done by me in watercolor! I'm not bothering to add words to it. Average word count per chapter is 2-3k words. I'm trying my best with grammar and spacing, so I think it's clear what's going on. My first serious fic, yippee!
