The Strong, the Weak, and the Resourceful...
Some may believe that the word "strong" means having muscles and being able to outlift someone else. To others, it may mean being able to make it through hardships and trauma whilst keeping those corners of your mouth up when your feelings are down. Being able to lie about happiness and wear a smile like everyday is the best day of your life.
"Weak" brings images of cries, and helplessness. Just the word itself makes one cringe to the bone. No one likes the word "weak." If one were to be labeled as this, they'll object, but keep in mind that maybe, just maybe, they really do wear the word like a sign.
If one were to be "resourceful" they're considered as clever. In some ways, they can be tricky. They can take any bad situation and find a way to work it out. Meet Alia, who is all three; although she despises the word "weak." She may be young, but she's on her own. Fifteen years of teaching herself the most important values of life. To her, those are survival, independence, and will. Love isn't something she believes in, because how can you believe in such a thing when your own parents don't show the slightest bit of it? Follow Alia, as she tries to pave her own way and avenge herself against the two who hurt her most: her parents. But can she do this alone? Or will she need something or someone to help her accomplish this? And will that something or someone teach her what the meaning of love is?
