Dan is struggling with his self confidence. Well, let's be honest. Dan has no self confidence and struggles to face the harsh realities of life and the pessimistic thoughts and voices that inhabit and nag his brain constantly. Phil tries to help his friend to realize that he really isn't as much as a monster as he thinks of himself to be. These two friends embark on a journey of love, hate, discovery, and confusion. And will they even still be friends by the end of the journey? Will Dan's turmoil break apart their friendship or turn it into something more? I've read a bunch of phan, so why not write one? Dan Howell's life couldn't be any better at the moment. He has met the most beautiful, charming, kind girl he could ever imagine, and she loves him back. Everything is perfect... but not for Phil. Phil Lester has always been in love with Dan since the first moment he first met him, but now Phil's heart is crushed. He has some suspicions of Dan's girlfriend, but Dan just brushes it off, ignoring Phil completely. Unfortunately, Phil's bad feelings may be true... hello this is @englishmoron [former username] 24.10.17 Hello Reader! this is my book. As you can see it is currently discontinued and I've officially decided to no longer carry it on. I have many reasons for this but the biggest one is that I've grown out of my d&p phase (I still love and support them both) and mostly cringe whenever I get reminded of this book. My grammar and punctuation was awful and I have now entered the part of my life when I'm being swallowed alive by school work. I am keeping this book up however for two reasons: 1. I'm attached to wattpad. Although I never use my account and high key wanna delete it, I've had a lot of fun and sad memories on this website and this book was a big part of that. 2. This somehow has 150k reads and 3k votes. By the way, thank you all for the reads and votes! I'm so grateful to see my younger selfs work paid off! I don't read lots of your comments (although sometimes the positive ones make me grin, thank you all for your kindness btw c:) because I'm well aware of my many errors and I get utterly embarrassed at others having to correct my old mistakes aha. Phil Lester is a well known youtuber. He hides behind the camera, he acts the way that he wants to but he scared to be himself at school. He's popular and he's not happy like that. Dan is sweet and rarely talks. He is always afraid that somebody will hurt him so he tries to stay away from people and emotions. Dan struggles with depression, selfharm, bullies, anorexia, a dark past, and being fostered by an abusive family. His mom and dad died when he was 13 and he blames himself everyday. His 7 year old sister is the only thing keeping him alive and sane. Phil feels bad for Dan, but he can't show it unless he wants to get hurt to. Little does Phil know, Dan is quickly losing control of his life. Read this book to go on this adventure with Dan and Phil. (Will mostly be written in Dan's POV) WARNINGS: This story will have very triggering content that deals with self harm, depression, self hatred, anorexia, abuse, harsh language, bullying, mentions of rape, bulimia, and anxiety.
