Illumi is an overprotected brother and wants to ensure the safety of his brother's life, Killua.  However, Killua thought of Illumi as someone who never cared for anything but himself. Even though Killua's hate for Illumi is there, he still loves him because Illumi is family. However, all that changed on that unfaithful night. It was found out when Illumi decided to visit Alluka the day after his birthday and discovered something more than just a birthday party.  A crime scene; a bloody crime scene. Alluka, murdered on his bed. Illumi approached him with a sad cast over his face. As he was about to touch him Killua burst through the door. Killua's melancholy state converted to a state of fury. Killua was the only person who loved Alluka and Killua wanted to keep that. Now in his state of mind, he accused Illumi of murder with no hesitation. It is true that Illumi despises Alluka, but he knew he didn't do this but Killua would never listen to his words at this point. In order to replenish the trust between him and Killua, he has to find the real killer and present him to Killua before the blue moon. Or else....
