- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was a French poet, writer and journalist, best remembered for his novella "The Little Prince" (Le Petit Prince). Aside from that, he was a pioneering aviator even before World War II. After all, his classic novella was a reference to his experience in surviving a desert crash on December 1935.
