A short story from a plot I was inspired from on Tik Tok 

"Imagine this song (carol of the bells by Lindsey sterling) is playing at a ball hosted by your enemy. You're twirling in the arms of another but when the beat hits, you both lock eyes from where he sits on the throne and in a split second he's striding fiercely towards you, determined that you be in his arms instead" 

I will be be constantly changing Wei Wuxian with Jiang Wuxian meaning he will be addressed as Jiang in some occasions and Wei in another

JADES OF HEARTS AWARD 2021---FANTASY GENRE WANGXIAN CATEGORY award winner. It's set in the time where Wei Wuxian and the others were in Cloud Recessess for their studies. Wei Ying gets injured. REAL BAD. But Wei Ying, being Wei Ying, not wanting to create an "unnecessary" fussing over his "simple" (not so simple) injury and disruption in Grandmaster Lan's lecture, keeps his cool and maintains a straight face, while his wound worsens. Will the other's and specially Lan Wangji, notice his hidden pain before it's too late? hey guys! I just had this VERY weird idea of a short story about a MDZS plot, so I had decided to write it up! hope you guys like it! They led him to a place called the burial mounds. Once their, the resentful energy found its new host/master. Feeling this power, he knew he had to be careful and hide it. When he was older, due to the resentment, he did not gain a golden core to cultivate like a normal cultivator. To help him, he created a powerful tool to help protect himself and others and control the resentment called, Yin Hu Fu (Stygian Tiger Amulet). He also crafted a black bamboo Dizi to help him out, he named Chenqing. He one day meets the second young master of the Gusu Lan Sect, Lan Zhan, and he was drawn by his pure spiritual (Yang) energy. How will Lan Zhan handle the demonic cultivator he grew up learning to cleanse, destroy, and/or hate? Especially seeing how handsome Wei Wuxian was at first sight to the second young master Lan? He's like a ghost. Lan Zhan is baffled and tries to break the curse, but Wei Ying tells him just to forget about him. This might break your heart but we'll see.
