Noxin Green has been accepted into one of the world's greatest boarding schools- Dragon's Emerald Core (or DEC for short). He can't understand why he got in, but everyone praises him like he has done something extraordinary.

Noxin is just about as non-extraordinary as it can get. He has no special talents like the other kids. No, instead he has a dark secret, and no one, not even his family, knows. Noxin Green is a Werewolf (or so he believes). At every full moon he morphs into this huge, jet black wolf, and he loses all mind control. He can't control himself, but instead an unknown force does. When he is transformed, he has a collar, with huge spikes. He thinks this makes him lose his mind.

Once Noxin is unchained, he meets a she wolf, so beautiful, that gets stolen from him. He has to rescue her, causing a very unwanted war....
