Hannah is found.
However his relief is short-lived as he realises that his pursuers have now caught wind of the people he has gotten involved with. He knows they won't inflict any harm upon them as they do not know much about him but he knows they are getting closer.
His past haunts him as he dreams for a life he knows he cannot afford to be in. He must prove his innocence. Longing conjures into determination and he ensures that the person he holds dear is safe: MC L/N.
The game of cat and mouse continues. One thing is certain: Jake Donfort can never get close to the light, otherwise his shadow would become visible...

Or both! -------------------- I tried to balance the story between thriller/mystery and comedy, I really wanted to do a little lighter and funnier (yet still serious) version of Duskwood, answering the questions that were left open along the way. The story begins at the beginning of 9th episode, right after Jessy's and Thomas' visit at Michael Hanson's house. I'm following the game plot a little, but then things will change drastically. (Little additional info for you: English is my second language and I'm constantly correcting any mistakes I can find, so if you see anything out of place, feel free to let me know.) Please note that this book is rated 18+ and contains content suitable for mature audiences. Appropriate trigger warnings are included, and most intimate scenes are skippable.
