The Darksiders : Portrait Day

Maya was a brilliant researcher aiming to complete her game-changing project about preventing molecular-level cross-contamination. She was working tirelessly to revolutionize the healthcare industry until dreadful incidents resulted in her losing it all ; her funding, her reputation, her student status, her networks, her career. She was kicked out of her own team and blacklisted permanently. With a few months left on her student visa, she wanted to do everything she could to clear her name.

Currently, Maya is known as Employee 117, at a local JiffyKart. She was working "under the table" which is a common fate for many immigrants. Since "She can't complain if she's getting paid in cash," according to her abusive, tyrant of a manager, Maxwell Ross. Her manager takes advantage of this and approaches Maya with a peculiar delivery--a personal one. Due to her current situation, Maya has no option but to accept this request. Little does she know, this strange, personal delivery will kick whatever plan the universe initially had for her, far, far away.
