I was looking forward to spending my last day before college in New Rome lazing around Camp Half-Blood, but that plan is canceled when Thalia and Nico appear unannounced.
It becomes obvious that the confused pair had been dropped here for a reason when the three Fates demand to see us and talk about something 'important'.
Next thing I know, we're in an unknown place with an impossible goal and no clue what to do. And our only help is a few supplies we don't need, weapons we can't use and a warning to be careful.
Very helpful.
So we follow the only plan that is sort of doable - Nico's plan, which is also the most terrible plan he's ever had.
After our trip to the Underworld goes sideways, (yeah, that was our great plan) the son of Hades true intent soon becomes clear. His horrific real idea.
And the worst part? Even though I know the dreadful consequences we will have to face if we go along with it, I can't help but want to do it anyway...

"The other side Nico! We will see you there. Understand?" Nico's eyes widened. "But-" "Lead them there!" Percy shouted. "Promise me!" „I-, I will." Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react. Because Nothing Lasts Forever
This is a Percy Jackson fanfiction. It is a Thercy (Thanatos/Percy) story. I am just trying this out. Tell me what thou think and I'll continue it. It probably won't be as good as my other stories though. Percy is betrayed by everyone. I'm not going to go over how he was betrayed, not in the summary nor in the story. He dies but helps out Thanatos and stuff, and Hades let him go back to the mortal world for that. When Annabeth leaves him for his half brother with everyone else, he is heartbroken. But he realizes that their life was never meant to be. He realizes that he likes Thanatos, who he had met when he freed him. But he didn't tell anyone-not even those who never betrayed him.
