In this story , Shadow the hedgehog has a little brother named Skye. This pair of siblings' bond is breaking farther and farther apart each day. One day , the boy's parents both passed away undergoing a disease that can never cured. It is up to Shadow to take care for his only brother and family member in Mobius. Will they ever put their bond into place or they will never get through the huge impact in their lives?

Welcome to Mobius a perfect place to live. Why, everything you need is right here on this very planet. We have technology, robot servants, and anything you could possibly think of. Now come on dow... down- own... to... pl-planet... MoBi...Us. A broken TV shuts off as it lays on the ground on the street. A polluted city was being attacked from the robots that were supposed to be servants but somehow they malfunctioned. We go to the top of a building as we see a shadowy figure sitting down at the edge of the tower with one leg dangling down from the roof and the other bent on top of the edge as the figure rested its arm on top of its knee gazing down at the polluted city. Everything is... gone. There's nothing left for me to do. All I have are my two sons, my only daughter, and my friends. I just don't know what to do anymore. My wife is gone, robots are taking over the planet, and what's worse... is that I'm supposed to be a hero. I'm Sonic. Sonic The Hedgehog and my wife Amy Rose has died to protect our children. Now it's my job to protect planet Mobius with the help of my younger brother, Miles "Tails" Prower, a red Echidna named Knuckles, two hedgehogs, Silver and Shadow. But I also have to protect my kids from the danger that hides through the alley ways in Planet Mobius. --- Sonic's age - 35 Shadow's age - 39 Knuckles' age - 36 Amy's age - 32 Tails' age - 28 Silver's age - 34 --- This story takes place in the future.
