It has come to my attention that the Duke of Hastings younger brother has finally come back to London. The honourable Lord Charles Basset is notoriously known to avoid society functions like the plague. And who can blame him? We all know how daunting Ambitious Mamas can be.
Could it be that Lord Charles is finally ready to choose a wife?
Of course, it wouldn't take him long. The charmer must know that he tops the list for desirable husbands nearly every year.
While he may have his pick of Darling Debutantes, This Author suspects that Lord Charles is rather privy to The Chase.
