When Adora gets a basketball scholarship from the 'preppy rich academy', Brightmoon, she's confused on whether to take this life changing opportunity. She could fulfill her passion for the sport, leaving behind the toxicity of the Horde. But while in doing this, she'd also end up leaving the person she cared for most.

Catra.

Catra and Adora have been best friends for the longest time. Deep down, they both felt a connection for each other, something stronger than friendship. Adora ends up taking the scholarship, and she begins her new life in Brightmoon - away from Catra.

Life without Catra is different. Adora adjusts to Brightmoon, making new friends along the way. When game day finally arrives, she's surprised to find Catra on the team she's playing against. The game goes sideways, resulting in Catra running out of the court and into the woods. Adora follows her, and after a few angry mumbles from her old friend, Catra throws her part of the friendship necklace at Adora. One thing turns into another as their necklaces start to glow, sending them to a completely different universe.

Is there love for each other deep enough to survive the travel through time but also in an alternative universe?
