When the evil ruler of Titanium, Maximus got stronger in as the kingdom of Diamonglore got weaker when the queen died after childbirth. Beatrice, her daughter is sent away with queens secret lover in the middle of nowhere where she could never be found but protected from Maximus. She stays with her step father, Cedric and has a werewolf guardian to watch her from a distance. When that werewolf gets old his son Valcon steps in. One day when she's older she just can't stand being curious of the woods. She attempts to enter but is then scared by a giant black wolf stepping out. He becomes too afraid of what he might do to her, so he growls and runs away. She spends the next two years with her step father confused and eventually makes more contact with him. The two form a bond and sure enough learn to love. Her mothers kingdom fell to ruin and had a growing evil spreading coming to take Beatrice. Will she defeat the evil king? Or will she be on the run with her werewolf guardian / lover?

He watched as her eyes skimmed over his dark eyes and black hair with barely a reaction. He felt his pride twinge a bit so he went further. Lifting his hands, he let the blood drip from them. Intrigued now, he went to the window of the house and watched as she reassured her mother that the dog was gone "I'll see you tonight, reckless child." He promised softly. **** Marcus felt himself beginning to wake and struggled to stay in the dream. But it was no use. His eyes opened and he released the pillow his hand was gripping. It was the same one that she had laid her head on every night. His head went into the pillow heavily for a moment, breathing in her faint scent. He hated and treasured dreams like that with equal fervor. He rolled over on his back and stared at the ceiling. It had been decades since she'd been forced to break that promise. He lifted his hand and touched the ring that had been her last gift. It had been decades, but it was yesterday. ***I did not skimp on the steamy scenes so consider yourselves warned ok? He threatened to burn down her pack or anyone else who dared come after her as this was his only chance of retaining his powers as the Moon Prince and to secure his father's throne.
