'He tried to unlock the chains that I had around my ankles, but I pushed him away and spat in his face.
He didn't say a word.
No cursing calling me a bitch like he usually does. He didn't even move to wipe the glob off with his hand yet. Guess that that was a new one for him.
Although I got a small amount of pride from the shock in his face, I was also slowly filling up with dread as his continued state of silence went on longer than expected.....'

When the government decides to experiment on a particular group of unwanted children, what would they do to them? How could no one ever not notice hundreds of children that are seemingly missing? And why was she so gifted? All questions that child AP051 asks herself as she plans her escape from area 51 with her new misfit friends. Ones that are so much like her, and yet so Completely Different. All with special powers that have condemned them to live a life of complete misery. But the biggest question they can't help but ask is "For what purpose?"
