Joey's mom died when he was 10 he's now 14. He had 3 horse's when his mom was still around due to financial problems they had to sell them. Leaving Joey with a broken heart. Joey and his dad still go to auctions every now and then just to see the horse's. But this time Joey's dad planned on getting a horse for him. On Joey's behalf he didn't know anything of it.
