Two weeks had passed since my parents had come to the Bahamas and we still knew absolutely nothing. They even offered up a large reward to anyone who had information about Miah's disappearance. All that had gotten us was numerous fortune hunters and a bunch of false leads which wasted everyone's time. My days were spent scouring the island with Miah's picture, but the outcome was always the same, no one had seen her. I tried to call Caleb right after Miah disappeared but I was told by his business partner that he had flown out of the country on an emergency deal and wasn't expected back for the next few weeks. That struck me as odd because he and Miah were supposed to be married the weekend after her disappearance. So I left a message with his partner to have him call as soon as possible. I'm still waiting on Caleb's call.

When I met Dylan on a long overseas flight, I thought our playful flirting would end once we landed. But when our plane crashed in the middle of the Pacific and we washed up on a deserted island, we were forced to make the best of a sticky situation. Forced to live in close proximity and share survival skills, it didn't take long for the two of us to become attracted to one another. As much as we tried to stay faithful to our partners back home, it was impossible to resist the raw magnetism between us. Expecting it would be a short-term fling precipitated by unusual circumstances, as the weeks passed by without any sign of rescue, I began to think the unthinkable...
