TOGETHER: The Library Mystery

"Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why are you helping me in this? I just don't get it."
He looked down at me, his hazel eyes boring into my green ones as if he's searching for something in my eyes, and said
"Do you think I would tell you"
"Umm...No"
"Then quit asking" he whispered
"if you don't tell me, then how can I trust you?" I whispered back
At this, he turned towards me and looked me dead in the eye approaching me with just one step and pinning me to the bookshelf behind.
he asked, "Now tell me, do you really don't trust me?"
Being so close to him I could see the Golden specks in his iris surrounded by a light brown shade in a puddle of light green. He looked even better this close.
whenever I look into his eyes I would see nothing, it was like he has masked his emotion with a blank facade but right now I could see something in his eyes that seemed pure and raw and told me that yes I can trust him.
Before I could reply him back we hear foot steps coming our way..........
