Nsikan isn't just our clichΓ© high school girl. In fact, she's as normal as they get. An average look, an average brain, and an average way of reasoning. With two amazing best friends she's supposed to be the center of attention right? Wrong, but she did gain some attention. Nsikan miraculously found a way to gain the Trix's attention despite her trying to be a wallflower which turned out to be a complete failure. Aside from that, she manages to gain the attention of the most attractive boy in school, but not in a good way. To Damian, Nsikan is weird. He sometimes wonders if her brain functions differently from every other human. Irrespective of being bullied on a few occasions, he realizes Nsikan still finds ways to smile and act silly and he found that strange. Damian and Nsikan might be two opposite individuals, but will there be something to learn from each other? Ten different lives. Two boys. One night that'll bring them all together. Sixteen year old Nosa is okay with being a loner. He doesn't have social anxiety-- he's Catholic and his mum promised you can't love Jesus and have a disorder. He's just weird and he's not good at talking to people but that doesn't mean there's something wrong with him. It does mean that he and Irekan could never be friends. Irekan's parents moved them back to Nigeria to straighten him up-- literally. Being Nigerian and queer has never been easy but now he has to at least try to 'ungay' himself to keep his family together. And that means no falling in love with Nosa's stupid face. Two boys fall in love over novels, anime and rock music that's definitely going to get one of them killed. ❀Winner: 2022 Pride Awards Teen Fiction Category❀ ❀2nd Place Winner: 2022 Pride Awards❀ ❀Featured on the AmbassadorsNG reading list❀ ❀Featured on Stories Undiscovered August 2022 reading list❀ ❀Featured on AmbassadorsAF reading list❀ __Highest Rankings__ #1 wattpadnigeria (3/08/2022) #1 Africanbook (8/05/2022) #1 Africanlgbt (8/05/2022) #5 Blackboys (12/05/2022) #2 Nigerianbook (15/07/2022) #13 Young Adult Fiction (23/06/2024) **This is a bl and it features multiple queer characters. Too Good to Be Real

60 parts Complete

She felt his warm palm on her wrist and at once she was facing him. Without warning, his lips engulfed hers, setting her on fire just like she did him. His lips were warm and soft and she revelled in it as she shut her eyes, her body instantly warming up to the kiss. She wrapped her arms around him, marvelling at how their bodies fit perfectly together. It felt so good, like her head was rotating. Nothing else mattered. Just the two of them. This was all she needed. Someone who accepted her for her. Her flaws, her beauty, herself, hook line and sinker. She withdrew reluctantly, angry she had to stop the kiss and also afraid someone had seen them. As she stared into his eager eyes, she knew she loved him but she couldn't help thinking she was doing the wrong thing. She loved him, but it wasn't fair to his girl. She could do anything, run, apologise, but she followed her heart. She drew him back and continued the kiss. A Nigerian themed story bound to leave you yearning for the next chapter.
