Three different kids. Three different backgrounds. Three different perspectives. One book.

Eoghan is mute. Izara has ASD. Kawikani has spina bifida. They are so different, yet it's precisely their differences that make them so alike. They all stick out from their peers and feel like social outcasts. No matter what they wear, how they act, or what they say, they are simply loners.

Through the power of sign language, the strength of upper arms, and the view from inside one's head, the three of them begin to take on the challenges the world has set out for them. And soon enough, they find out that maybe, just maybe, it's not so bad being different.
