Miss Ellie Wellwood is what she would consider a teacher. Her specialty? Love. She has spent the last three years of her Season helping wallflowers meet eligible bachelors, and has a very high success rate to boot. Unfortunately her powers of 'love' still can't land her an aristocrat. Not that anyone could meet her impossibly high standards anyway. Enter the Duke of Burmingshire. He's deadly handsome, wickedly clever, and a renowned rake; everything that Ellie would just love to ignore, but somehow can't. When she receives an invitation to the Dukes house party intended for her presumed dead cousin, Josephine Dixon, she can't take miss the opportunity to teach her newest student about love. Oh and possibly seduce the Duke while she's at it. So Ellie turns herself into 'Josie' A sultry, sensuous woman, with no caution, and every intention of toying with the Duke's emotions. Timothy McCabe, the new Duke of Burmingshire has only two goals this London Season. Avoid an unwanted marriage, and regain ties with past friends. What better way to do that than a house party? Sure he'd have to include some females. Some unmarried females, at that. But even those could be fun. If only to warm his bed at least. What Timothy didn't expect was Josie Dixon. A mess of a gorgeous woman that will stop at nothing to wither down his barriers and drag his heart down with it. But will he let her?
