Being a straggler is okay. Losing is okay. Being a loser is okay. So long as you can live with yourself and accept the current "you", all else is irrelevant. Yet there are these people that refuse to accept their current situation. Be it their insufficient pay, their position, their social standing, or their weakness. These people... are terrifying. Those at the top do their best to stop them, to prevent their position from being threatened. But these people are everything if not used to being pushed down and they don't let up. Some give up, some perish until only a small number of those people make it to the top and take the place of their superiors.

Then the process begins again...

"I've always been a straggler. Being beaten is nothing new to me, in fact, I welcome it with every cell in my body. A loss just means there's a win waiting for me somewhere in the future. But constant victories lead only to one thing... defeat. So... LET'S HAVE A FUCKING BLAST, EY?!"

It's no secret that some people use their unique gifts to do good, and some use them to do evil. Your classic heroes and villains, if you will. But what about the middle people? The people born with powers, not the kinds that let you fly, or crush cars with your mind, or turn your enemies into puddles of goo before you, the ones that are not quite considered "super". What are they supposed to do? Their powers aren't strong enough to categorize them as hero or villain. Imagine Knife Man or Spoon Girl with the power to control cutlery, do you honestly think they would hold up in a fight against anyone else? Being a superhero without powers is hard enough, being a superhero with a useless super power is damn impossible. Andrew, Carter, and Heather knew that their unique abilities would be worthless if they made themselves full time heroes or villains. Instead, they use their "uselessness" to their advantage. The trio makes their living in their own respected fields, but they come together as the best band of thieves in the world. Nobody would ever suspect three seemingly innocent young adults of 45 high profile theft cases. There is nothing extraordinary about them after all, no crazy hair colors, no fire blasting out of their mouths. It's the perfect cover. When the group steals a valuable, but at the same time worthless, artifact from a museum in Tokyo, they find themselves caught in the crossfire between the National Superhero League and a new super villain on the rise. And since the heroes can't seem to be doing their one job right, the group steps out of the shadows and takes matters into their own hands.

Protagonists, the most important characters in stories. They're the ones that are supposed to save the world and be a symbol of hope for humanity, the ones that can defeat anything in their way if they want to, the ones whom the reader wants to win and succeed... ...Well atleast thats how a good heroic protagonist should be. I wrote 3 novels ever since I dropped out of college at 20 years old. My first novel was probably the worst novel to exist, bad characters, basic and repeated plot and a terribly unlikeable rude protagonist. Thankfully, the last 2 webnovels were a complete success! I was planning to retire from writing when suddenly i got hit by a car and woke up as someone i didn't recognize at all, but the worst part was that the school this body attended was the exact same school where the plot of my first novel took place, how crazy, right? Welp, i'm screwed huh? Being in the world with the dumbest and the most arrogant students ever isn't exactly a good thing to be in? Yes, i'm in my own novel, but why couldn't i have entered one of my more successful novels instead?? How annoying... I guess the only thing i could do now is try to stay as far away from the arrogant protagonists as possible, I am not trying to die today! But if only the soul of this body i'm currently possessing right now wasn't screaming at me non stop to "give their body back" as if I knew how to do that, and why is there a mini version of them sitting on my left shoulder while a mini version of how i looked in my past life is sitting on my right shoulder?? This doesn't make any sense...sigh.
