Sabrai has been having the same recurring dream since the age of 5. The older she gets the more frequent the dreams. Now at 21, it happens every night. Her mother, the queen of the Faye, takes her dream every morning after she wakes up, never explaining to her why she must go through the strange routine.

But one day, when the Hollow gets attacked by Daemons and Sabrai is snatched from her mother and the only life she knows. She soon realizes that she is not at all who she thought she was and the dream she's been having for the past 16 years isn't a dream at all. It's a memory.
