Winnie lives in the middle of a forest with nineteen adopted sisters. She's lived a life of only seeing these same people, and their Mother, whom only comes out of her room to eat. The girls are the only ones doing important chores around the house, and they know they'll be killed if they question Mother's long absences in her room. The secrets Mother hides are deadly, and they've agreed on. All Winnie wishes for is change. Somehow, her wish comes true, but not in the way she expects.
