NecroMagic: The Final Battle (Short story exherp from the end of the series)

This is a short story I did for a competition. It's a few scenes from the end of a series I'm planning. It's less than 1,500 words.

Layla is a special girl. She's half dead--a human brought back to life, who had accidentally stolen the magic from a local witch in a local coven that specialized in Necromancy, therefore turning her into a peculiar Litch. Now, four years later, she is forced to finally face them in a final battle in hopes of ending the raging war that had developed, alongside her friends.
