The Doctor once had a sister when he was a young boy, her name was Soran.

One day she disappeared, leaving no trace, all thought her to be dead. But, she was on the planet earth, hiding from aliens.

When her brother started helping the humans that inhabited the planet, Soran watched him, made sure he was safe, from the aliens she thought he still feared from when he was little.

(Soran did not see her brother 'till after the time war. This mainly involves the 11th Doctor. She's never heard of the time war.)

The first time he saw her in years, he didn't recognize her.

He didn't believe her, not until she was about to reveal his name.

Amelia and Avalyn Pond were two Scottish girls who lived in an English village named Leadworth. when Amelia was seven and Avalyn was six, they met a strange man who called himself 'The Doctor', after his little blue box fell out of the sky, into their back garden. After saving them from a crack in their wall, The Doctor leaves with the promise of returning five minutes later, so when he returns later than expected, there's no wonder why they've changed. Despite everything, Amelia and Avalyn decide to travel the universe, through time and space, with The Doctor, in his TARDIS. As time goes by, The Doctor starts to notice that Avalyn's eyes catch the attention of everyone they meet, and it annoys him that he can't figure out why. But with cracks in the skin of the universe appearing, The Doctor can't seem to find the time to work it out. Perhaps the cracks can provide more answers than The Doctor was expecting to find, opening up new posibilities that he could only ever hope for. ○~@~○ "I like your eyes." She stated suddenly, causing The Doctor to pause in his actions. "My eyes?" He asked her, an amused grin on his face as he kneeled down to her hieght. "What about them?" Avalyn smiled shyly, her own eyes wide with a sense of wonder. "Everything." She told him simply, giggling when The Doctor pouted at the answer. "The way they contradict everything else about you." She decided to elaborate. "Sad and old and wise; full of impossible stories that hold millions of words. Cold with grief, while at the same time, warm with the kindness of a man that can do no wrong." Avalyn paused as The Doctor grinned wildly at her. "Oh, Pond..." He sighed; shaking his head slightly, patting her on the head. "See you both in five minutes." He promised, jumping into the blue police box as the sisters observed, holding hands. They smiled brightly as they heard The Doctor's fading cry of 'Geronimo!'. . . ○~@~○ [Based on season 5]

A Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith fanfic. It has been over a decade since The Doctor left Sarah Jane back on Earth, but she is still finding things a little hard without him. She has taken it upon herself to fight aliens that come to earth, hoping that she might one day run into him. One day Sarah Jane witnesses a large rock fall to earth near where she lives and decides to investigate it herself. When she takes a sample of the rock a purple gas is released from it, it goes straight into Sarah Jane's body. At that moment the Tardis materialises and the tenth Doctor steps out of it. The Doctor doesn't figure out that Sarah Jane has been taken over until it is almost too late for both of them. After a series of unusual events Sarah Jane finds herself at home, not remembering meeting the Doctor again at all, but this time she isn't the only one left behind.
