Deku got tired of hiding all of his emotions under a mask. Tired of keeping a smile on his face despite being constantly beaten up and ridiculed. He'd kept his mask up for so long that it was fragile as glass. The day it broke was a tragic one for his old "friend" and mother, but became a beautiful opportunity for him. The villains saved him. The villains were his family. The villains helped him put on a different mask. He was getting back at all the people who'd ridiculed him... or was he? Everything was viewed through a black and white lens. You were either a Villain: evil to the core and the scum of the Earth or a Hero: good and just and incapable of any wrong or you were a civilian: nothing, collateral damage, spare pieces in this complex game known as life. I was deemed a Villain before I was even born, because of who my father was you see, and made the dreadful mistake of dreaming to be a Hero. I was Quirkless on top of everything but still I wanted to save people, i wanted to change lives. I still do and I can do that now. But...not in the way I thought I would.
