Sidney Prescott returns to Woodsboro. Not because of a book signing, or because of her friends, but because her life depends on it. The killer knows where she lives. The killer tells her that if she doesn't return to Woodsboro, her husband and newborn daughter will be killed. What choice does she have? Once she returns everything she expected to happen happens again, and she's as helpless as ever. The killer seems to strike their victims when they least expect, barely even calling them beforehand anymore, and attacking Sidney when she's almost always defenseless. All Sidney can do is hope she can take this psycho down, and hope that her family doesn't get caught in the crossfire.

Leaving Woodsboro felt like growing wings, freedom. I was only sixteen when I left, right after Maureen Prescott's murder. It wasn't fair to the people I loved; I left my best friends and siblings behind because I was sick of this town, I was sick of hiding. I needed to find myself, to be myself fully, loudly. Truth was, I was irrevocably in love with Sidney Prescott and I couldn't feel that way in Woodsboro, not in 1996. I never thought I would come back a year later but I had to when my twin sister Tatum called me in a state of panic I'd never witnessed before. If I had known what was going to happen, maybe I wouldn't have jumped in my car and drove "home". This story is mainly inspired by the scream movies but it won't follow the exact same timeline because I want to had some details and therefore I need to create my own timeline.
